Once upon a time I lived near the Missouri River. Every few years there is a flood and if you’re not careful you can find yourself stuck on the wrong side. When that river starts rising its amazing how quickly that water comes up. Bridges often end up underwater and there just isn’t any way around unless you are willing s couple of hundred miles…and even that is no guarantee.

Once upon a time I was young and my fires ran hot. I remember the frustration I would feel when obstacles such as a boyfriend, my parents, the police, geography, random acts of nature, etc stood between me and my dearly beloved – whatshername.

The reason why I chose a Chrysler instead of some other vehicle is because in my youth, Mopar products were the POS vehicle of choice. They were huge, cheap, and damned near indestructible. Gas was cheap and that back seat was as big as a couch. There are worse ways to spend a Friday night than sitting parked beside a river, sipping whiskey, and listening to the radio in the backseat of a 73 Imperial with the one you love.
